Double milestones for Greg Rollo

Two significant milestones were achieved in Round 12, when Greg Rollo achieved a double, with his 300th Subbies game also marking his 100th 2nd XI game.

Within that total of 300, Greg has also stood in 147 1st XI and 53 3rd & 4th XI games.

He also has 30 final appearances to his credit, with 3 x 2nd XI and 2 x 4th XI Grand Finals against his name, and he umpired the 2004 Hatch Cup Final (now known as the J.G. Craig Cup)

Greg is and always will be a gentleman in the true sense of the word. He won the Matt Harris

Award in season 2003-04, was made a Life Member of the VSDCUA in 2013, and joined the

VSDCUA 200 club in 2018.

He is a terrific guy to umpire with, his great temperament and teamwork certainly make

Saturdays enjoyable for his partner. In Greg, we have a bloke who loves cricket and loves

life!
