ABOUT

Victorian Sub District Cricket Association (VSDCA)
(Established in 1908)

Our competition which is often referred to as ‘Subbies’, consists of 32 Clubs, spread over the metropolitan area, with four elevens at each club, and all matches played on some of the best cricket grounds and pitches in Melbourne.
The VSDCA
is an efficiently organised, and well-run cricket competition and enjoys a reputation for quality cricket and good player behaviour. The “Spirit of Cricket” is an important cornerstone of the VSDCA.
Teams are zoned North, South, East & West. 1st & 2nd Elevens alternate their zone each year. 3rd & 4th Elevens have two zones (South East & North West).
At the VSDCA, we embrace diversity in gender, age, ethnicity, disability, religion, and sexual orientation.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for children who participate in our competition. To meet this we require all umpires to;

  • Have a current ‘Working With Children Check’

Children Check | Victorian Government (www.vic.gov.au)

  • Embrace the Victoria Cricket Integrity Policies which are a commitment to the reporting and complaint procedures related to alleged non-match day misconduct between adults, as well as in relation to children and young people.
